Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was absolutely charming. The rooms were beautifully decorated and plush, offering a cozy atmosphere. However, the sheets on the sofa bed had not been changed since the last guests, which was a bit disappointing. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly accommodating and helpful. The location was idyllic, perfect for relaxation and exploration. The dining experience was outstanding, with delicious meals served in a lovely setting.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of cozy charm and unexpected challenges. The room, though not as spacious as expected, had a fireplace that added a lovely touch. However, the location was picturesque, making it a delight to explore Woodstock, but the room access being down a flight of stairs made it inconvenient with a baby stroller.
My stay at the inn was a mix of delightful surprises and a few disappointments. The room was beautifully appointed though the sofa bed sheets were neglected. The late check-in was compensated with champagne and strawberries for our honeymoon. The fireplace in the room caused a smell issue that disturbed my sleep, leading me to open the window in the snow. However, the dining experiences at Richardson Tavern and Red Rooster were top-notch.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed but had a strong fireplace smell that disturbed my sleep. The staff were friendly and caring, yet lacked knowledge about certain outdoor activities. The location was lovely with great dining options, but there were some accessibility challenges for families with strollers.
The hotel is simply wonderful, from the beautiful rooms to the friendly service and great location. However, the dining experience could be improved with more variety. The facilities are top-notch, offering a variety of amenities for a pleasant stay.
When we arrived, our room wasn't ready until 4 pm, an hour later than expected, but once settled in, it felt like staying at a room in an old friend's house. However, the room was exceptionally small and dated, making it a challenge to place the crib due to a cold draft near the window. The service, highlighted by attentive staff and numerous amenities, made for an amazing day of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. The location, filled with tasteful antiques and maintained perfectly despite heavy foot traffic, was truly a hidden gem worth the stop off the highway. The dining experience was good but came with an unexpected downside of high prices, especially the $3.50 cup of coffee. Overall, our stay was comfortable with some notable drawbacks to consider.
